NHSSV is a partner with the City of San Jose in its Strong Neighborhoods Initiative Program. The City has set twenty lower income neighborhoods on the path toward Redevelopment and is focusing resources to remove blight, improve substructure, and increase home ownership. With City funding, NHSSV is able to acquire blighted residential properties, fully rehabilitate them, and sell them to eligible homebuyers.

As a licensed General Contractor, NHSSV rehabilitates blighted properties and sells them to low-and moderate-income families.
